hello! thank you for always inspiring us in our journey of losing weight, ,i'm badly in need of your advice,..i want to loss weight but i am so worried about my carbohydrate intake because i ate a lot of bread in a day..,,do you know how many slices of bread should i only take in a day in order for me to loss weight or not to gain weight?
Well, According to the food guide pyramid to have a quote “balanced diet” we’re to consume 6-11 servings of grains a day. That number however, Is rather high. Personally, I eat maybe 3-4 servings a day and I’ve lost 29 pounds! Everything in moderation! You can eat too much fruit and still gain weight. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than what you consume. As long as you’re getting in your other nutrition and you’re within your calorie limit I don’t think eating bread/grains will make you gain weight. However, Grains are calorie dense so be careful! Also, The TYPE of grains you eat can have an effect on your weight loss/weight gain as well. Personally, I eat Ezekiel 4:9 spouted bread. It contains no flour and is 100% organic. It’s also only 80 calories a slice. Much better than white/wheat/whole grain breads.
I guess the only thing(s) I can suggest is make sure the bread you’re eating is healthy (Like Ezekiel bread). Eat it in moderation. Don’t eat an entire loaf in 2 days, Haha. Make sure it’s within your calorie limit and you’re getting in your other nutrients. You can’t live off JUST bread.
Remember, Not ALL carbs are bad carbs!
As long as you do that (accompanied w/ exercise/drinking water) you should still lose weight!
I just weighed in at 221. My start weight was 250. I have ate today so there's a possibility that extra pounds is food/water/waste. I could weigh in tomorrow morning at 220, That means I would have lost 30 pounds!!!
53. Try to eat nothing but raw food today. No cooking, no baking, no grilling. Eat raw carrots, canned tuna or smoked salmon, maybe even sushi! Just eat fresh, non-termal processed food. It might be weird and “unnatural“ but that’s actually the healthiest way to eat. Enjoy your healthy day!
54. What is your favorite weight loss blog? I have a list of my favorites on my blog!
55. Will you continue to write your blog after you reach your UGW? Of course!!
56. Have you ever been on a low-carb diet? How was it for you? No I have not. I did once consider it, But I figured I would just gain the weight back after eating carbs again. Plus, Not all carbs are bad for you. Just eat healthy and exercise then your weight will take care of itself.
As an individual trying to eat healthier, I’ve been forced to give up a lot of my favorite junk foods to adapt to this new healthy life style. However, Sometimes manufacturers produce products that are “healthier versions” of popular junk foods. For example, Ground turkey as opposed to ground beef or whole grain cereals instead of sugary cereals like Cocoa Puffs or perhaps even Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt. Alas, There are still some food and food products I’ve yet to find a replacement for. If you would be so kind as to share your ideas with me I would be eternally grateful.
Cheese (no salt)
Wraps (I’ve tried Flat Out whole wheat wraps w/ flax, But they’re still processed.)
Rolls/bagels (I know there are whole grain breads, But as I said before… They’re still processed. I try to keep my diet as clean as possible.)
Dressing/vinaigrette (I’m a ranch person, But that’s not really something I can eat on a regular basis while losing weight xD)
I also would appreciate any recipes you may have. More specifically recipes for baked chicken, Turkey, Fish (tilapia), Shrimp, Fruit smoothies, Soup and rice
